Is there a registration fee?
No. Forge is free to enter. Meals, swag and mentorship are covered by NMG. Bring your own laptop and charger. NMG keeps a few backup laptops for emergencies only.
Who is eligible?
Forge is open to 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students, postgraduate students and recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation) across India.
How does each Forge work?
Each Forge is a type with its own stack and challenge. New types launch every fortnight and each repeats as weekly editions running the same challenge. Pick a Forge, open its page and register for the edition you want. Every Forge has its own Builder Handbook with the full setup.
Will my submission be public?
Your GitHub repo needs to be public for judging. After the event you are free to take it private, open-source it or commercialize it. NMG only retains the right to publish a case study about it, with credit to you.
What if I do not get shortlisted?
A new Forge runs every fortnight, with weekly editions. You can re-enter as many times as you want for any upcoming edition.
